100 Days to Health - Day 22 | Fruit

Week 4 –  Day 22 Get FruitFULL

Fruit is Good, More is BetterTry to eat one meal every day that comprises of only fresh fruit. Eat as much as you like until you feel satisfied. This meal can be eaten at any time of the day, but I have found that most people prefer eating their fruit meal in the morning.Fresh fruit is essential to a healthy diet. Fruit contains all the nutrients we need, and it allows the body to cleanse and repair itself. In it’s natural state, fruit is appealing to all our senses. All fruit regulates your blood sugar levels and leaves an alkaline residue in you body. Some fruit might be acidic before it enters the body, and might digest in a more acid environment than other fruits, but it is never acid-froming in the bloodstream. Eaten cooked or in a wrong combination with other foods may lead to acidity. For this reason, fruit is best eaten its own.By making one meal a day a fruit meal, you’ll find that you no longer crave sweets. Your body will get enough glucose, which is one of the most essential nutrients that we need.Fruit is easy to digest because the nutrients are available in their most simple form. This means that the nutrients are ready to be used by your body. Even the sugar in fruit is good for you, as it is natural and unrefined – Ideal as a natural energy boost.

Fruit is good, more is better :-)

Add ice cubes after blending the nuts and the shake gets very white and frothy.

You may prefer to add the passion pulp last and just stir in by hand to prevent the black pips/seed being chopped up into gritty pieces.
