Week 5 – Day 35

Tip for the Day

There will be times when you fail to stick to the 100 Days to Health Program. Do not become disheartened.. Instead pick one Good Habit that you can do and set out to make it your own good habit. Once it is part of your lifestyle, move to the next Good Habit and make it your own.

Don’t be unrealistic, we live in a world filled with an endless variety of junk food that is packaged, designed, and promoted in such a way to get us drooling. We have restaurants and fast food outlets on every corner, just begging us to come in and celebrate something. But do not despair, you will be able to resist the temptation if you just stick to the few basics that we covered at the beginning of the week.

Good Habit # 5 is really simple and does not take away from your existing diet. If you’re thirsty, drink water first. If you crave sweet things, have something naturally sweet before refined sugar. If you’re craving salty foods, have some natural foods containing good fats like olives or avocados. Then move on to enjoy whatever it that you desire after you raw food.

It’s that simple to find perfect health for yourself.

Recipe for the Day

Chilli pesto

1 cup fresh coriander/cilantro

1 seeded red pepper

½ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1-2 tsp ground cumin

1-5 medium to strong chillies

1-2 tsp Mary-Ann’s Garlic & Herb salt

Yellow and green rice – great served with Chilli non carne

Add 1 tsp. ground Turmeric to 1kg brown rice.

Cook according to instructions on packet and mix in ½ -1 cup of chopped parsley or cilantro (coriander).
