Tip for the Day

Sorbital, Aspartame and Saccharin are some of the well know “Avoid at all Costs” Sweeteners. These chemical substances presumed safe for years are now known to interfere with our bodies natural balance, and damage our healthy cells.

Research shows that these artificial sweeteners (additives) lead to a wide range of diseases known to man.Ranging from bladder tumours, mental retardation, hormonal disorders, lesions, epileptic fits, chronic brain damage auto immune diseases and even cancer.

Now you can understand why we say ‘Avoid at All Costs’ from Day One. Use natural sweeteners such raw honey and small quantities of fructose. And remember, fruit is good.

Recipe for the Day

“Choc” sandwiches

Finely grated carob chunks (like chocolate but caffeine, dairy & sucrose free, made from carob in place of chocolate) chips or carob (200g) blended with water ¼ cup and ¼ – ½ cashew nuts to form a spreadable paste.

Optional – add hazelnuts and/or Mary-Anns Malted Carob to taste
